Moist Turkey Recipe

This Turkey Stuffing Recipe has been in the family for ages

If you are looking for a tasty Stuffing Recipe, then in my completely unbias opinion, you have come to the right place.
For Thanksgiving this year we had our folks over and prepared the Moist Turkey Recipe as directed on this site.  I asked mom if she would prepare the Stuffing as I remember hers as being my favorite, so she wrote down the recipe as she went. Here it is.

Sausage Stuffing Recipe

Ingredients:
1 pkg. Herb Seasoned Stuffing Mix (prefer Mrs. Cubbison's)
1/2 lb. Sausage (Cooked & Drained) she used Jimmy Dean's Regular
Turkey Giblets - Cooked & Ground or finely chopped (Optional)
*1 Onion raw chopped in food processor
*3 Celery Stalks raw chopped in food processor
1 apple - cored (Optional)
Chicken Broth or Giblet Broth

Mix first six ingredients, then add just enough broth to moisten.
Cook in 9" x 13" Dripper Pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes do not cover

* Onion & Celery could be cooked in 1/4 Cup butter instead of chopped in food processor

I don't know about you, but I don't like my stuffing too soggy. That is why this recipe doesn't call for it to be stuffed inside the turkey.  This recipe in my opinion is just moist enough, yet has just the right amount of crispiness. I like the taste the sausage adds to it as well. I hope you do too!
